Engine: highly modified 396
Transmission: white stripe is a 4-speed, black stripe is a TH350

Story:  These two beauties and their stories are too similar not to feature them together.  Both cars have their numbers matching original 350/300hp engines and are RS/SS convertibles.  When Mike saw the black stripe car in 1989, it was love at first sight . He started pestering the owner to sell it and after six long years, Mike finally got his car.  Mike’s favorite Camaro color is Hugger Orange and the car was just too sweet to pass up.

After moving from Euless to Keller, Mike saw his car’s twin.  Upon closer inspection, he realized it was a 4-speed car with white accents.  Four years later, the owner of the second car gave in and sold him the car.  Mike says owning the two cars is kind of like having  “his and hers” RS/SS convertibles.  Mike likes taking the automatic for the long distance cruises and the 4-speed when he is ready to do some street light to street light cruising.  Both cars are drivers.  The black stripe car is unrestored, except for the paint, and the white stripe car had a cosmetic restoration performed by the prior owner.  Mike’s future plans are to bring the black stripe car up to the same level as the white stripe car.
