June 2001 Feature Car

David Caver obtained his car when he turned 16. By the time he became a high school senior, his car was sporting new paint as well as a new engine. After high school, David attempted to trade the Camaro in for a new sports car. Luckily, his father would not let the car leave the family. His Dad purchased it from David. The car was safely tucked away under cover. When David realized what his Camaro meant to him, he talked his parents in to letting him have the Camaro back for a restoration job. Four years later, through two paint shops, a lot of money and a great big hand from his father and a couple of friends, the restoration was complete.
