Story:
Garret Toomey wants to know who in their life wouldn’t desire a first gen Camaro?  He loves the looks and style and finally acquired his own in September, 2001.  He was searching for a car that was mostly complete, with only fine tuning required.  He finally found the car he was looking for in the speed capital of North Texas, Ennis.  The first thing he did upon buying her was to affectionately nickname her "Heather".   Heather came to Garret as a mostly complete frame off restoration in the color that he was looking for.  It also had most of  the options that he was seeking.  In the 5 months that he has owned her, he has done a lot of work to her and she is now near completion.  Some of the special features on Heather include a GM ZZ4 350 c.i. engine with Fast Burn heads,  Edelbrock 650 cfm carburetor and Accel air filter.   It also has a working cowl induction hood, Accel HEI ignition, Flowmaster exhaust, and a serpentine accessory belt conversion.  The interior includes a Kenwood CD changer,  Phoenix Gold 400 watt amp, 2 1/2" JBL Sub woofers, and a 6,000 RPM tach.  The car sports custom paint (2000 Corvette Millennium Yellow) inside and out and runs on Crager SS wheels.  Other features include a brake proportioning valve,  front and rear spoilers, and multi-leaf springs.  Garret says anywhere he takes her, he meets people that look and ask questions about her.  It seems that  young and old alike have an appreciation for the first generation Camaro.
