Story:

Cris purchased the car in April 2002 from another club member Michael Chance, who had the car since 1980. When he purchased the car it had semi-fresh paint, new carpet, tires and had a fresh rebuild on the engine. Cris has done lots of work since acquiring the car. He has installed an Edlebrock Performer RPM package (heads, intake and cam kit), MSD billet distributor with MSD 6AL box, Holley 670 cfm Street Avenger carb, Hooker ceramic coated headers flowing through a 2.5" Flowmaster series 50 exhaust. For the suspension, Cris converted to power front discs, installed PST sub frame bushing kit and PST poly-graphite front end kit along with the 1" PST front sway bar, KYB gas shocks, front springs, and converted the rear to multi-leaf springs. For the transmission Cris replaced the original PowerGlide with a 200 4R. Cris really likes this difference has made at cruise speed. For the body changes Cris had added a new gas tank, filler neck, sending unit and gas line. He replaced the windshield header (what a job), upgraded to rosewood steering wheel and replaced most of the interior knobs, button, switches, ash trays, etc. He has also replaced the weatherstipping for the convertible top and added an Auto Meter gauge package. Cris is looking forward to getting this car on the dyno at this years Dyno Challenge, as he has no idea how much HP it will make. Look for Cris at some of the events and see if he has made any more upgrades to this beauty.
