October 2003 Feature Car

Owner: Steve Good
Year: 1969 RS
Engine: 350

Steve is new to the club and has not been to any functions just yet. He has been busy with his 10 yr old daughters fast-pitch softball career and at the same time trying to finish his car. Steve removed the sub-frame and had it powder coated, installed new front end bushings, new rotors, new disc brackets and new brake lines. He had the transmission rebuilt and installed a trans-go shift kit and 2000 stall. He just finished the small block built to Chevy High Performance Magazines Goodwrench quest specs, which uses a basic Mr Goodwrench 350 with Vortec heads, Edelbrock RPM intake, Comp cams 268H cam, Comp cams Magnum roller rockers, Street Demon 625 Carb, and ceramic coated headers. As you can see by the picture he still needs head lights and a front bumper installed. Steve tries to do a project every weekend between softball games.

Hang in there Steve, you have done a great job so far and will certainly get it going very soon.
