January 2005 Feature Car |
|
Keith shares the story of his 1967 Camaro: How did you acquire the car? “I traded it for a 1981 Camaro.” How long have you owned the car? “Since 1983.” What would you have done differently? “Win the lottery & then I can really do some damage!” I stripped the car down to the shell and started restoring it back together. I have done all the work myself so far. There are tons of other things I still want to do when the funding is available. It sat in storage. in parts, for about six years. Then, I started slowly getting it together. I had no help or moral support until I met Lynn. Together we got the car going and looking decent enough to take it for its first trip, the 2003 Hot Rod Power Tour. I had always dreamed of doing the tour one year...and finally got to do it!
